Guest guest
I had a member email me asking if we could all be careful when we share info with eachother that might have a sort of disgusting content or be rather stomach turning to read. I thought that was a good idea. We all have from time to time read vegetarian news reports or facts about how the animal and factory farming causes " yucky stuff " to enter the foods we might eat. While these facts are indeed true and should be shared at the appropriate opportunities [as this is a vegetarian support group too], let us all be careful to include a warning in our post titles. That way if a person is eating dinner or whatever, they can choose to skip reading the post for the time being until a more appropriate time for them. Did that make sense? *lol* Basically let us all show some consideration by posting a small warning when our posts might contain some bit of gross info. Thanks! Sincerely, PT
Guest guest
I was thinking about that PT. No matter what I still want to drink my milk, eat my grill cheese and eat my eggs but not everyday. I gave up all the other stuff though. Guest guest
That's how I am too, Paul... except I never drank milk even before becoming a vegetarian. Guess my folks turned me off to that when we lived out in the country in NY near some farms and got fresh milk from a neighbor. Too fresh! *lol* I drink almond or rice milk now, sometimes soy with my oreo cookies or cereal. We all are different and have different tastes and veggie goals and that's cool. Speaking of goals, time for a brewski! *lol* I'm gonna have a microbrew from Berkeley, CA called Two Palms Oasis Amber ~ yummy with a slice of lime dropped in the bottle. Cheers to you and Buddy! ~ PT ~ " If I destroy you, I destroy myself. If I honor you, I honor myself.
