Guest guest Posted July 10, 2006 Report Share Posted July 10, 2006 Lunch: 1:30 to 1 ish Favorite veg lunches: pinto beans and a corn tortilla, or half a pita pocket with lots of veggies and ranch dressing, or roasted corn and beans in a corn tortilla (yeah, I love those things), or tossed salad with lots of veggies and a piece of string cheese, or leftovers, or soup with veggies and cornbread, or a protein shake and a handful of cheese crackers Get on board. I'm teaching at a summer camp now and lunch has been around 12 (after i get all the kids (they are all 3 yrs. old) settled in with their lunches, i can sit with them and eat). i have taken over my son's laptop (www.laptoplunches.com) lunch box, which i love! I'm trying to bring varied and colorful lunches with lots of fruits and veggies to set a good example for the kids....their lunches are horrible...processed, sugared, artificial, etc. they are always curious about what i'm eating and will even ask to try something. > What are some of your favorite vegetarian lunch > foods? today i had a veggie sandwich with pt's awesome artichoke and olive spread (recipe is in the files), carrots, raddishes, and lettuce. i had a small thermos of sopa rancheros soup, ranier cherries, and fresh blueberries too. usually for lunch, i'll eat leftovers, sandwiches, salads and soups. susie Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I bought a Laptop Lunchbox early this year after someone mentioned it on a weight loss web site I belong to. Ever since I got it I've used it almost every work day. It's got built in portion control, it's compact and still holds plenty of food.
