You don't eat lunch? I usually take some of the leftovers from the

previous nights dinner or maybe a homemade bean burger. I make them in

large batches and freeze.

Just curious as to why you choose to

do this? I'd think a person would get VERY

hungry. I have also read it is better for the

metabolism to eat frequent smaller meals

throughout the day...

But if it works for you. *shrugs*

This is how I eat as well. I eat dinner with my husband at 7:30pm

when he gets home at work. I do drink water, tea, etc during the day.

I know this wouldn't work for most people, and unfortunatly I usually

get odd/rude comments regarding it. But I've been eating this way for

years too.

Why would someone be rude about YOUR eating habits? I dont get it, but I

guess some ppl live for that sort of strife in their lives, sad!

Maybe the ppl who are rude to you are just hungry, ha ha. :)

I'm with you, it's MY eating habits, so why do they care? I don't get

it either! I think people often react badly when they don't understand

something or it's not something they would or want to do. And since

they don't do it, well it must be bad or stupid. I've also thought,

gosh they should be happy going out to lunch with me, they'd get all

my food! :) Thanks for letting me rant a minute.

On a different subject, anyone have a good idea to use a lot of

scallions ? I have a massive batch ready to be picked, I'll give some

away of course, but can I freeze them? Thanks!

Cheers,

Heidi

I'd probably dry them before I'd freeze them...but you can buy frozen

chives, which are similar, so who knows.

If I had a big bunch I'd have to make some potato/scallion soup and freeze

that :)

and you're right, people tend to criticize what they don't know before (if)

they open their mind to it.
