Guest guest
Here's what I did.... I cut up a goodly amount of spanish onion coarsely with some garlic, sauteed very slowly in olive oil until they started to caramelize...then I added beet greens and red chard.....put a lid on to slightly steam...when they started to break down then I sprayed them with Braggs Aminos and red chile flakes. Oh YUM....they were soooo good! mmmmmm
Guest guest
This does sound so good! A friend of mine made me a sandwich using chard and kale she sauted much like this. She didn't add any Braggs or chile, but I bet that would make them even tastier. Great idea. ~ PT ~ The lights of stars that were extinguished ages ago still reach us. Guest guest
She used that flat-out brand flatbread. They come in several flavors and remind me of oval-shaped tortilla wrappers, but more fancy. They are really good. She added the chard saute with onions and garlic, and some mushrooms, tomato slices, salt and pepper. Then after they got warmed through like the chard, she wrapped them in the flatbread with a slice of cheddar cheese. They were really good. Here is a link to the flatbread product she used: http://www.flatoutbread.com/movie.html ~ PT ~ There is nothing in the world so attractive as someone who will dream with us, merge their dreams with our own, clarify the path toward the actualization of the dream, and lock their arms into ours while walking the path. ~ Neil Clark Warren ~~~*~~~*~~~> , MaryAnne Crites <suzyq_26201 wrote: > > On what kind of bread? > > > ~ PT ~ <patchouli_troll wrote: > This does sound so good! > A friend of mine made me a sandwich > using chard and kale she sauted much > like this.
