Guest guest
Not really similar at all. Here are a few links I found with pictures and info that can describe them both better: Kohlrabi http://www.urbanext.uiuc.edu/veggies/kohlrabi1.html Broccoli Rabe http://www.gourmetsleuth.com/broccolirabe.htm Don't feel dumb though, because I had to look them up being unfamiliar with kohlrabi. So thank you for asking because I also learned something new. ~ PT ~ Anger and intolerance are the enemies of correct understanding. ~ Mohandas Karamchand [Mahatma] Gandhi (1869-1948) ~~~*~~~*~~~> , MaryAnne Crites <suzyq_26201 wrote: > > Is broccoli rabe similar to kohlarbi? Guest guest
Kohlarbi is popular in Canada. I've seen it once in the grocery here (MD). I've thought about growing it but decided not to because of our hot, humid summers. Diana
Guest guest
My parents grew kohlarbi in the humid Chicago suburbs. gayle
Guest guest
Thank you. I'm going to plant some next year. My children have told me that I'm eating so many different vegetables that I'm going to turn into one and then the deer will eat me. I replied that the people speeding through the area would get me first. LOL! Diana
Guest guest
LOL! That's a good one, Diana. ~ PT ~ We are as sick as our secrets. Our ego takes over control of our lives and when that happens our minds get very sick. Then we hurt people and our minds will always justify our actions. Our minds will give us rationalization and excuses that we are justified in doing what we are doing. ~ whitebison.org " I believe much trouble and blood would be saved if we opened our hearts more.
