Guest guest
Yes, even today, it still does contains lard. And even their new cookbooks list the ingredient " lard " on their Nutrition Information list. Joanie
Guest guest
Last time I looked it still contained lard. So many people aren't aware of that. No wonder I see it on sale for 4 boxes for a $1.00 Donna , zainypagan wrote: > > > > > Hey yall Jiffy has a free cookbook offer if any of you are interested. > _ " JIFFY " Mix FREE Recipe Book - Free updated recipe book!_ > (http://www.jiffymix.com/request.html) > _Welcome to the Chelsea Milling Company - Home of " JIFFY " Mixes!_ > (http://www.jiffymix.com/) > Susie or Susan > > > Some Americans need hyphens in their names, because only part of them has > come over; but when the whole man has come over, heart and thought and all, the > hyphen drops of its own weight out of his name. ~Woodrow Wilson > > > >

It used to have HYDROGENATED lard as well! Maybe they think people feel it's healthier to have some natural lard than trans fat shortening in the stuff. I can't eat Jiffy mix muffins. They send my blood sugar soaring for some reason. I haven't touched them in ages. Must have been the hydrogenated lard! -- Liz
