love to make almond butter in my vitamix. Does anyone do it?

Almond butter in my area costs over $10 a jar!

I'm assuming that I would put blanched almonds in the Vitamix and

blend with some olive oil???

If you have a 99centonly store near you then start checking them out.

I can get natural nut butters there ever so often. I have gotten cashew

butter and crunch butter, both were arrowhead mills.

hyphen drops of its own weight out of his name. ~Woodrow Wilson

I put roasted or raw almonds in my Vita Mix and a little oil. I usually use a

nut oil, like peanut oil, but Olive oil should work great. I've used Canola OIl

before.
