Guest guest Posted August 1, 2006 Report Share Posted August 1, 2006 Hi--just posted this to the Vegetarian group and was waiting to see if the link copied completely--It did, so thought I'd post it here, too for those who are not also members of the veg group. There is an interesting article in the Daily Grist about making BLT's. The author suggests several different alternatives to the bacon that might be interesting to try--some different smoked salts and even Liquid smoke. I've learned that a lot of things I never knew we had available here in Waco, I just overlooked or didn't know what I was looking at when I saw it....lol. It was the only tempeh that I had liked, I used to make sadwiches with it.
