Sweet breads are probably #1 and then comes pie, cake, cookies, and all the rest. I always have sweet bread slices in the freezer so I can enjoy one slice after dinner. I've never learned how to make the kind that has a rich pie-crust like topping with the sugar baked on so that its almost crunchy in a way. I very rarely make desserts or eat them at home--we do fruit salad type stuff a lot, though, that could be considered a dessert. Like others here, there are too many in the running for the favorite spot, but a couple that quickly come to mind are: peanut butter chocolate chip cookies and mint chocolate " ice cream " > 2. My year round favorite dessert would have to be a sliver of cheesecake with a drizzle of chocolate or raspberry syrup..yum. I do like ice cream or frozen yogurt in the summer...or cantalope, watermelon chunks, and blueberries (frozen even). 2. About how often do you make or eat desserts a week. I rarely make any dessert, especially in the summer heat. Ice cream or frozen yogurt is my nightly treat. Fruit is a mid day snack. Well lately it's either been a nice bowl of red grapes, a nectarine or a Skinny Cow ice cream bar! But my very favorite as of late has to be an Afogato (vanilla ice cream with a shot of espresso over it). 2. About how often do you eat or make desserts a week? A decadent dessert?
