Guest guest
Okay. Today my daughter [who recently went vegetarian too], is going to help me make some Gypsy Soup in our crockpot. We will have to head down to the market to buy some sweet potatoes because that is the only ingredient we lack to make it. Last time I was in Gooseberries [the local healthfood store we like to shop in], I went looking for more of the dried organic Anasazi beans I bought there for $1.99 per pound a while back. They are all gone, so each time I go I look for them. I could kick myself for not buying more back when I first found them. I should have known they would sell out fast! Time to make a pest of myself and request they get more today if they are still out. ~ PT ~ It is always wise to avoid show-places and choose for your excursions into the country the simplest and most natural scenery you can find. ~ John Cowper Powys, 'The Meaning of Culture' ~~~*~~~*~~~> , " cuppa_2u " <cuppa_2u wrote: > > The conversation can be about anything that does not mention non > vegetarians or non vegetarian foods! Guest guest
Today my guts burned! too much of a good thing--too much garlic hahaha Beware the dreaded garlic spread, it singes as it heals. I eat it but it eats me back and spurns me after meals , " ~ PT ~ " <patchouli_troll wrote: > > Okay. > Today my daughter [who recently went vegetarian too], > is going to help me make some Gypsy Soup in our > crockpot. Guest guest
LOL we used fresh minced garlic to make garlic bread the other night. I too had such heart burn. I took some charcoal capsules and it was gone very soon. That is good stuff for any stomach aliment. Guest guest
Garlic? My dad sounds like that when he eats too many green bell peppers or hot spices, but he eats them anyway because he just loves the taste! *lol* ~ PT ~ The Teacher will not be recognized by the diamonds on his head or by the number of students he has.
