Thanks Susie! And you are absolutely correct. many of the foods that

I was sampling on " Organic Day " were labeled " Central Market " . I am

encouraged by the fact that HEB thinks this is a good marketing

strategy. It makes me think there are consumers out here that care

about this kind of thing!!!

Yeah--the name lends itself, doesn't it? When the boys were tiny, one

of them came up with H E BB's (as in a bb gun)---and then it kind of

naturally led to calling it the " he-be-jebies " . Now it's

just " work " ! Both of my sons work there, and it's a great place for

them. Very amenable to kids who work there going to school. The

schedules are extremely flexible, and my oldest is now able to

transfer to another town where he's going to college this fall and

continue to work a few hours.
