Guest guest
Do you mean in individual portions or freezing an entire casserole at once? I do it one of two ways mostly...if it's soup or something I can put into a freezer bag after cooled I do that. If it's a casserole type I will line a glass baking dish with several layers of foil, put the ingredients in and cook. After it cools I fold up the foil and put it in the freezer. After an hour or two I will take it from the freezer, pop the foil pack out, wrap it in another layer of foil, label it and throw it back into the freezer. When it's time to cook I just put it back into the glass dish, vent the foil and cook. As for individual servings, just take an individual serving out of the meal and wrap in foil or in a freezer bag or container. meg On 8/15/06, Valerie Cropsey <fantsybeads wrote: > OK everyone, I need to learn how to freeze individual meals. Guest guest
I was actually going to ask something like this. I made falafel from a mix last night, and wanted to freeze some for my girlfriend ( who doesn't cook - but that's another topic). Do you think it would be better to bake the falafel and then freeze it or make the balls, and freeze those, then thaw and cook? mike
