Guest guest
Hi Wee I'm not sure that you have that right. You need to take account of the fact that US and British pints are not the same size - a US pint is only 16 fl oz, whereas a Brtitish one is 20 fl oz. This would mean that the standard UK half pint glass is actually 10 fl oz whilst a US one would be 8. I am staggered by the amount of water you have consumed - I'm lucky if I can manage 1 litre :-( Christie , " Wee K Chew " <techiewee wrote: > > Dear Gary, > > I am in the UK and our glass are much smaller than what you have over there > > Our glass are approx. 1/2 a pint. > A litre is approx. 2 pints, I think. > Correction most welcome. > > I consumed approx 4 Litres of water, today excluding fruit juice and other > drinks. > I mostly drink filtered water and I have a Britax Water Filter at work and > at home too > > > > Best Wishes, > Wee > >
Guest guest
Dear Gary, You got me thinking. Lol Because I am not spending much time away from my desk at work, I must have extra large bladder Seriously, I don't leave my desk that often. If I do, it's only next door But I recalculated my water intake and today, it's approx 3.5 Litres. Kind Regards, Wee On Behalf Of Gary Mattingly Wednesday, August 23, 2006 7:06 PM RE: RE: How big of a glass of water - Gary Hello, I'm sure consuming that much water is probably good for the body but it can be a problem at work. Even with only a liter I am required to leave my desk a number of times after consuming said water. With 4 liters I think would spend much of the day away from my desk. . . . ;<) Gary
