Guest guest
Hi Whitney, Where did you purchase them? None of my stores here carry them, and are not sure if they can or will get them. How much did they cost? M.A. whitney <starrypryncess wrote: I have tried them... They were good but a little hard to work with. Guest guest
I got them at Buford Highway Farmer's Market... not something you are going to find in WV. It is half ethnic/half American grocery store. I don't think I paid anything for them either like $1.49 maybe? I am not sure. Then I found them at Trader Joe's for $1.29. I bought 2 and when I went back to get more they were all out. Next time I see them there I'm going to stock up. I think Whole Foods might carry them and I'm sure they're more in the $1.99 range. I have also seen them at a couple of little Japanese stores, but didn't check the price. Your best chance of finding them is at one of those places and not a regular supermarket. -- Liz
Guest guest
Thanks Liz for the information. We have an Asian store about 75 miles from here, so next time I am up that way, I will check. I am wondering if they are really filling and would help one loose weight and not be hungry (as the article reported). Add lots of veggies to it, maybe some tofu or tempeh, and it's very filling and low calorie. I haven't read that the noodles themselves help you to lose weight but I guess if you eat enough of them instead of other higher calorie food, you will lose weight. -- Liz
