Hi Whitney,

Where did you purchase them? None of my stores here carry them, and are

not sure if they can or will get them. How much did they cost?

I got them at Buford Highway Farmer's Market... not

something you are going to find in WV. It is half

ethnic/half American grocery store. I don't think I

paid anything for them either like $1.49 maybe? I am

not sure.

I bought some at a small health food store the first

time for $1.99/package. Then I found them at Trader

Joe's for $1.29. I bought 2 and when I went back to

get more they were all out. Next time I see them

there I'm going to stock up. I think Whole Foods

might carry them and I'm sure they're more in the

$1.99 range. I have also seen them at a couple of

little Japanese stores, but didn't check the price.

Your best chance of finding them is at one of those

places and not a regular supermarket.

Thanks Liz for the information. We have an Asian store about 75 miles from

here, so next time I am up that way, I will check. I am wondering if they are

really filling and would help one loose weight and not be hungry (as the article

reported).

Each package contains two servings but you really need

a whole package for each person. Add lots of veggies

to it, maybe some tofu or tempeh, and it's very

filling and low calorie. I haven't read that the

noodles themselves help you to lose weight but I guess

if you eat enough of them instead of other higher

calorie food, you will lose weight.
