Strawberry Enchiladas

 

2---13X9 in. Pans(glass)

2 ---doz. Flour tortillas

2---sticks butter

2 1/2---cups sugar (seperate)

2---cans pie filling-Comstock Strawberry'

1---cup water

1/2---cup pecans, fine chopped'

cinnamon to taste'

.............

Roll pie filling in tortillas (1-2 tbsp.) Place in pan

Melt butter with 2 cups sugar & 1 cup water

Pour over tortillas---let stand at least 4 hours, perfer overnight.

 

DO NOT REFRIG. Bake @ 350 degrees for 30 min.

Mix 1/2 cup sugar, nuts & cinnamon, sprinkle over top & bake 15 min

So, I am curious, does it come out soft, or does the baking crisp them up?

They do sound good! I am just trying to imagine what they will be like.
