Guest guest
What would you like to change about your eating habits? I eat a few vegetables, but not enough. Being alone at present has really zapped my diet, and I grab whatever is handy (a protein drink, multigrain bagel with peanut butter or cream cheese or a bowl of low fat granola with rice milk). I stay late on my job, and by the time I walk my dogs and get back home, it is too late for my digestive system to consume a meal or even a sandwich or soup. I know all the right things to do, so it is just a matter of doing them. I am the only one who can change me. M.A.

As a calorie restriction practioner, probably eating less. (Also, I have a hunch I might have gluten issues, but am stubbornly sticking to my seitan and cereals.) -Erin www.zenpawn.com/vegblog
Guest guest
What would you like to change about your eating habits? I would eat less at each meal and more total meals. I forget to eat, or I'm too busy, or something comes up, then at around 4 p.m. I eat a ton and feel miserable. Before I eat I get dizzy and shaky. Plus I've been watching Star Trek ALL THE TIME lately, and it doesn't matter when I watch it but I have to have my rum and Coke. I've tried drinking water instead, but the humorous bits are a lot funnier with the rum. I'd hate to ruin that, ya know? Kadee Sedtal Everyone is raving about the all-new Mail. Guest guest
Hi All, I would try new things (I eat the same things much of the time) and cook at least 1 meal at home a week. --April , " ~ PT ~ " <patchouli_troll wrote: > > The group question of the week [qotw] for > October 1st-7th, '06: > > What would you like to change about your eating habits? >

Guest guest
I'd like to be less picky about what I eat. I don't like peanut butter & jelly or a lot of quick, simple things, and am always impressed by the way my husband will eat whatever without complaint (as long as it's veg. of course). I would like to eat less processed/canned/frozen foods. They have so much sodium and I can do with less of that. I would also like to stop snacking late at night. Two hours after dinner until I go to bed (which is often 2-3am) I find myself heading to the kitchen over & over. I don't eat an entire cake or pint of ice cream, but a few crackers & cheese; a container of yogurt; even fresh fruits & veggies all add up. I worked hard to lose a lot of weight over the past 1 1/2 years and don't want to backslide. -- Liz
