Guest guest
> 1. What is your name? > [real name or computer username is fine] I am PT... that is what I go by online anyway. My real name is Robin. > 2. Where do you currently live? > [be as vague or specific as you feel comfortable sharing] I live in Grants Pass, OR. > 3. Are you a happy vegetarian right now? Absolutely! I am so happy I am a vegetarian and I want to share the joy of vegetarianism with everyone. I also think it is important [VERY IMPORTANT] that each one of us behave in a friendly and cheerful manner in regards to our vegetarianism so that we don't put a sour face on this path. So many omnivores have told me they see vegetarians as " pushy " , " rude " , " condescending " , " hostile " , " preachy " , and the list goes on. The best way to show omnivores the joy and pleasure of vegetarianism, is to be joyful and a pleasure to be around. So remember to smile today! Share a recipe and be a good example of vegetarianism through attitude and delicious food. > 4. Do you like pumpkin? I love pumpkins. Great carved into lights or used to serve soups, dips or stews out of. Great to use in so many recipes as well, both savory and sweet. Mmmmmm ~ PT ~ Pay attention to your enemies, for they are the first to discover your mistakes. ~ Antisthenes
Guest guest
HI PT That is funny that you say people tell you vegetarians come of as pushy and preachy. I have had people come at me that way because I am vegetarian. A long time ago I was wearing a shirt that said vegetarians are earths best friends and some guy tried to start an argument with me about it. I never push what I eat on anyone as it is my choice, my husband and son eat meat, my daughter does not but it is there choice not mine. gayle

I have had more meat eaters try to get me to eat what they do and then anything in reverse. I think the one's that call us pushy are really just making most of it up.
