Guest guest
Hi everyone, PT has been very busy lately, so I'm posting the Question of the Week for her this week. This is something that is meant to be fun and stimulate conversation and hopefully recipe sharing. (hint, hint). QOTW: What foods define Fall for you? Guest guest
My grandmother's dinner rolls. She makes them for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and they are absolutely perfect. I'll look around for the recipe (hint taken!). I've tried it a couple of times but it just never works for me. They're so goooooood. I won't get them this year since we moved. I'll look for it later on. Kadee Sedtal " artichoke72x " <artichoke72x wrote: Hi everyone, PT has been very busy lately, so I'm posting the Question of the Week for her this week. I have been eating them nonstop. Butternut is my favorite but I've also been eating acorn, carnival and delicata. I like them very simple, baked with a little brown sugar (okay, Splenda Blend brown sugar), cinnamon and sometimes butter if I remember to put it on. Sometimes I'll stuff them with an apple-cranberry-walnut mix. Sometimes with wild rice. Sometimes have maple syrup in there. I could easily eat squash for every meal and be happy. -- Liz

Guest guest
hi everyone, The squash have been unbelieveable this season. I just cut them up put them in an oiled bake pan with a little soy sauce whatever seasonings around, a hand full of garlic. cook till tender. love the butternut, but my favorite is the delicata. I have to say though for fall apples are my favorite, empire right now. I'M on a lemonade fast right now and I can't believe how bad I want an apple.
