Time for a new question of the week.

This is for the week of Nov.5th-11th:

What are your plans for this Thanksgiving Day?

Do you go to visit family or host a gathering at

your home?

I love to cook and would love to have Thanksgiving at home however we go

out for Thanksgiving dinner every year. T his year We are also having my

nephew come for Thanksgiving. He is in school in Vermont and since he won't be

able to go home to Chicago I am having him here I live in Connecticut.

My sisters and their families along with ours, get together with my mom for

Thanksgiving at a retreat center that she volunteers at, and lives at in the

campground. They have a large cabin that we rent for all of us. We play lots

of outdoor games they have there at the retreat center, play card games and

domino's, do crafts and COOK..... LOTS. Other family and friends in the area

join us for a Thanksgiving meal. On Friday, all of my sisters and I get up and

head out the door @ 5:30a.m. for the Day after Thanksgiving day of

shopping....... Fun Fun Fun. The guys all go and pick oranges with the

teenagers we all have. We bring back at least 3 banana boxes worth of oranges

and grapefruits to make daily fresh squeezed juice with.

Ugh! I am so late in answering this one! *lol*

I will be having a very nice quiet dinner for my

family here at home. If my kids have friends that

want to come over on that day to eat, then they

are welcome. It is going to be very low-key.

My son just recently chose to go vegetarian, so that

is going to make this year's Thanksgiving more fun

for me as a cook.... :)

this day's performance of the meanest duty be thy religion.

at thy feet, and from it learn the all.
