Guest guest Posted November 10, 2006 Report Share Posted November 10, 2006 Green Bean Casserole 1 can (10-3/4 oz.) cream of mushroom soup 1/2 cup milk 1 tsp. soy sauce Dash ground black pepper 4 cups cooked cut green beans 1-1/3 cups French's® French Fried Onions Mix soup, milk, soy, black pepper, beans and 2/3 cup onions in 1-1/2 quart casserole. Bake in a preheated 350° F., oven for 25 minutes or until hot. Stir. Sprinkle with remaining onions. Bake and additional 5 minutes. Guest guest Posted November 11, 2006 Report Share Posted November 11, 2006 Oh I love the soy sauce idea in this old favorite. I'll have to try it. We also love finely diced celery and onions in ours. I use my mandolin to make these quickly. Sometimes I put them in a small bowl, covered with a saucer, in the microwave a couple of minutes to get them tender quicker and then add them to the remaining ingredients. Sometimes I also add a little bit of Velvetta, cut us in very tiny pieces or grated Cheddar Cheese.
