Guest guest
Mashed potatoes and leftover mashed potatoes the next day! Donna Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun. Shine on you crazy diamond. Now there's a look in your eyes, like black holes in the sky. Shine on you crazy diamond. You were caught on the crossfire of childhood and stardom, blown on the steel breeze. Guest guest
*LOL* I just knew you would say that. Those mashed potatoes are a must, but my absolute cannot do without it dish on Thanksgiving has got to be the stuffing [with veg gravy of course]... but I need the mashed potatoes too to go with it. I just love all the traditional T-day foods and the best part is knowing the " turkey " is not a real animal and that the bird lives to enjoy their life. My plate contents in order of importance: 1. stuffing w/gravy 2. mashed potatoes [more gravy *lol*] 3. mashed squash w/ butter 4. green bean casserole 5. corn 6. un-turkey [my favorite is the quorn roast] 7. pumpkin pie with whipped cream 8. cranberry sauce ~ PT ~ How long should you try? Guest guest
I have to agreee.....the dressing/stuffing is the best part. I love green bean casserole too. the side dishes rock! Today in my preschool class we sang a really cute song that my kids loved. it goes: Albuquerque Turkey Sung to: " My Darlin Clementine " Albuquerque is a turkey And he's feathered and he's fine And he wobbles and he gobbles And he's absolutely mine! He's the best pet you can get yet Better than a dog or cat He's my Albuquerque turkey And I'm awfully proud of that! And my Albuquerque turkey Is so happy in his bed 'Cause for our Thanksgiving Dinner We have spaghetti instead! --- ~ PT ~ <patchouli_troll wrote: > *LOL* I just knew you would say that. > Those mashed potatoes are a must, but my > absolute cannot do without it dish on > Thanksgiving has got to be the stuffing [with > veg gravy of course]... but I need the mashed > potatoes too to go with it.
