Guest guest
I was so busy when my feet hit the floor on Thanksgiving morning. My sweet niece-in-law made this and handed me a bowl. It was heaven in a bowl. This is her recipe she used. Amish Baked Oatmeal 1 1/2 Cup quick-cooking oats 1/4 Cup sugar, or less 1/2 Cup milk or soy milk 1/4 Cup butter or margarine, melted 1 egg 1 tsp baking powder 3/4 tsp salt 1 tsp vanilla warm milk or soy milk fresh fruit and/or brown sugar(optional) Combine the first 8 ingredients; mix well. Spread evenly in a greased 13 " x 9 " baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Immediately cut and spoon out into bowls; add milk. Top with fruit and/or brown sugar if desired. Serves about 6 Open up o world and let me in, then there’ll be a new life to begin I have dreamt of an open world, Borderless and wide Where the people move from place to place And nobody’s taking sides Source:Yusuf Islam(Cat Stevens)-Maybe's There's A World An Other Cup album ______________________________\ ____ Want to start your own business?
