This is truly food from the gods and something I eat at least twice a week

during tomato season. The smell of basil always says summer to me. Love it!

I love basil too. I even have some that is ready to harvest right now. I

can hardly wait. I've been cooking with the dried basil all winter. Now I'm in

the mood for some fresh.

I grow herbs in pots on my patio and one pot is devoted soley to basil. I plant

one mature plant and then plant lettuce leaf size basil in the pot. It produces

basil in abundance all summer. I love the large leaves.
