Guest guest
I love mustard, collards, spinach, kale, red swiss chard all very much. I don't like them over cooked.......I can't stand over cooked greens...... Oh they are sooooooo good for you too so that makes me even want to cook them more often. Give me a bowl of most any kind of beans or peas and some southern cornbread, some coleslaw and you've got a great meal............ Guest guest
HI Judy (praised one) I too enjoy all of the greens. I made a Swiss chard miso soup from the recipe files here on this forum and it was wonderful, and very nutritious. I also made the collard green and cabbage combination many times, and that is my favorite. I am pretty sure that recipe was from this forum as well. Guest guest
Hi Ronald, I looked and looked through the files and can't find this soup. It's not in Asian recipes, Greens, or in Soups, unless you mean the Bitter Greens, Tofu and Soba noodle soup, which isn't specifically chard, but could certainly use chard. Is that the one? Here's the URL for that one: http://f1.grp.fs.com/v1/AAUfRYQz8PsBSfi_ktD7dY0UkIatmaCEr3vJK225z7Xvvs7gZhY\ TGQ8zmmq3Fk44iLac8_fIPBvLEbhFtP4ZWWtrUmA5uQ/%2ARecipes/Greens/Bitter%20Greens%2C\ %20Tofu%20and%20Soba%20Noodle%20Soup Thanks! If need be I can post it for you. I am doing well, thanks for asking. Samantha is getting so big. I will send pics soon. Guest guest
That sounds very good Diane. Judy - strayfeather1 Tuesday, October 03, 2006 10:12 AM Re: What's everyones favorite greens? One of my fave bowls is a layer of any grain (rice, quinoa, barley), a layer of any bean, topped with a pile of sauteed greens (any), garnished with hot sauce or indian pickle or olives or or or . My fantasy fridge would have containers of various kinds of rice, grains, and different beans all ready to combine in my empty bowl. The larger leafed greens can be used as wraps too! peace, Diane , " wwjd " <jtwigg wrote: > > I love mustard, collards, spinach, kale, red swiss chard all very much.
