Guest guest Posted October 2, 2006 Report Share Posted October 2, 2006 Fried Breaded Brussel Sprouts 20 ozs. brussel sprouts 1 1/2 cups unbleached flour 1 1/2 cups bread crumbs 4 eggs, beaten or use egg betters or 6 egg whites salt pepper garlic, minced olive oil Trim the sprouts, cut in half length wise. Bring water to a boil and blanch the sprouts for about 4 minutes to 6 minutes. Remove and place in cold water to stop cooking. Place sprouts into a mixture of flour, salt and papper, coat well. Remove and place the sprouts into beaten eggs, coat well. Remove and place into bread crumbs and coat well. Fry the brussel sprouts in olive oil and garlic for about 10 minutes over medium heat or until a golden brown. Makes 4 servings. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
