Guest guest
I bought a package of kale yesterday. This was the first time I have tried it. I went with the cooking directions on the back....adding tomatoes. It was bland! Ok....rest of the package today....olive oil, onions, garlic, red pepper flakes. It has been cooking, but it still looks/smells like it is crying for something else? Any suggestions? ] Sue

I love kale and I found a new fav -- watercress. Never had it before yesterday but I love it -- reminds me of nasturtium leaves that I also love. yummers. Guest guest
Hi Sue, This is late for your dinner tonight but don't give up on kale Try any, several or all of these: mushrooms, tofu, kalamata olives, throw in some broth & reduce it down (makes the kale really soft), diced cooked potato, indian pickled garlic or onion, roasted cashews or pecans or pinenuts, an egg maybe, lemon juice, soy sauce, your fave bean maybe? I like kale w/ kalamata olives, red chili flakes & a little crumbled feta at the end. Also w/ sesame oil, soy sauce, tofu & red chili flakes & indian pickled garlic. peace, Diane , " Sue " <kup wrote: > > I bought a package of kale yesterday. This was the first time I have tried > it. Guest guest
Thanks, Diane. I still have a bunch left, so I may throw in some of these things tonight. Rooms and olives sound good. I already used the broth. Sue ---- strayfeather1 10/4/2006 10:30:46 PM Re: Kale???
