Guest guest
Same here Beth lol I thought I was allergic to them because my mom would make me eat them every Thanksgiving (the marshmallow, brown sugar kind) and I would always get ill after. But last summer hubby grilled some with a little butter and some curry powder and Oh! Yum! so they are back on my table too. I like them as oven fries too. I will try your combo for sure; it sounds great. I don't have an elec. griddle - do you think the cast iron gridle under the broiler would work well? peace, Diane , " Beth " <bethwisdom wrote: > > I am just now learning how good sweet potatoes are. I made them again last night and just used a skillet. It was a little harder to get everyone of those slices brown on both sides, but I still thought they tasted wonderful. And both teenagers came running in when they smelled them cooking. Beth
Guest guest
I never liked 'em with all that sweet garbage on them either. Can't stand when restaurants just assume you want brown sugar all over them when ordering a sweet potato. UGH! I just eat them plain. Baked. Nothing on them. mmmmmm! But I agree Beth! That sounds good! I am a big fan of cooked onion---wonder why I never thought of putting the two together....lol. Thanks! And yes, Diane, I have had the sweet potato fries, and they are yummy too!
