Guest guest
What spice combinations do you use when cooking dried chickpeas, red beans, pintos, or black beans? I'm familiar with pinto beans, but I as wondering what variety of spice would add different flavorings.

Guest guest
This spice thread is really great. I've been trying to use more spices in my dishes, but generally don't have much of a clue! Thanks for the great tips! chico_trucker wrote: > , " cmcavazos " <cmcavazos > wrote: > > > > What spice combinations do you use when cooking dried chickpeas, red > > beans, pintos, or black beans? Guest guest
I put chopped olive oil, onion and garlic in the water with the beans (usually some combo of pinto, black, whatever looked good). I add cumin, ground chiles or chili powder and a little salt. Messenger with Voice. Make PC-to-Phone Calls to the US (and 30+ countries) for 2¢/min or less.
