Guest guest
Ohhh, yet another book possibly going into my amazon wishlist.... it grows much faster than it empties! Which may be good for my actual bookshelf and my wallet, but not good for my desires! lol. My diet has evolved to the point of my avoiding buying additional books that include dairy and eggs, as well as those that lean heavily on soy/tofu. tell me, how does this one measure up? Should I add it to my wish list?? Thanks for mentioning this book....um...I think (?? lol). Guest guest
30 years ago they didn't use much soy, he uses fruit juices in the sweet bread to cut down on sugar, etc. The recipes are so good. I make an awesome fig bread from this book. Try to get the old original and the new version, there are some added recipes in the new one. Get inexpensive used copies. Also try www.half.com. Guest guest
Few recipe titles from the 30 yr old book Nut Milk, BAked TOmatoes, Baked Grapefruit, Garbanzo Bean Salad, Potato Watercress Soup, Nut Sauces, etc. The new version is very good and has almost all the old recipes in it but they are brought up to date. --- " Thia ....
