They make a humane spider catcher that I've always been tempted to buy. I often wonder what they eat when they're indoors for so long. Guest guest
My husband has come home many a night to find the couch overturned and 10 or more tupperware containers turned upside down waiting for him to get home to free the poor little creatures. I love country living!!! glpveg4life wrote: I usually catch them in a bottle and let them go outside. gayle

Guest guest
I found that you can slide a very thin catalogue under the tupperware and make a lid to take the container outside and free the intruders. I think we had a mama spider somewhere at some point and all of the hatchlings have grown very big : ) , Christene Eggie <kaijax wrote: > > My husband has come home many a night to find the couch overturned and 10 or more tupperware containers turned upside down waiting for him to get home to free the poor little creatures. Guest guest
I've used the jar / junk mail method of catching spiders for a long time now. My kids think I'm nuts, but I tell them that spiders catch bugs, so they're the good guys. Of course, if it's one of those creepy ones with a humongous abdomen, I'm not quite as eager. But I still catch it and put it outside. LOL Donnalilacflower <thelilacflower wrote: I scare everyone. I pick them up with my bare hands and take them outside. Guest guest
I just moved out of a country house and had hundreds of spiders. Used to catch them with a cup, sliding something under and then release them outside. Seeing momma spider and her babies was amazing in one web. --- Melissa <mapalicka wrote: > > I found that you can slide a very thin catalogue > under the tupperware and make a lid to > take the container outside and free the intruders. > I think we had a mama spider > somewhere at some point and all of the hatchlings > have grown very big : ) > > , Christene > Eggie <kaijax wrote: > > > > My husband has come home many a night to find the > couch overturned and 10 or more > tupperware containers turned upside down waiting for > him to get home to free the poor > little creatures.
