Guest guest
As long as you nurse and stimulate the breast (this is human, I know nothing about cows) milk will continue to flow. This is why many moms are able to nurse their children well into toddlerhood. Kerri
Guest guest
Into toddlerhood is one thing- for humans that is ideal. Cows do not naturally nurse their babies for long. They wean them for a reason. It's not good for the cow to lactate that long- any mother who's ever breastfed a baby knows how demanding it is and how it really " takes it outta ya. " Plus those milking machines are certainly not made for comfort. Kadee Sedtal Get your own web address for just $1.99/1st yr. We'll help. Small Business. Guest guest
I think it is best to let the baby decide. My breastfed our son for close to a year. At about 6 months, i was eating a banana and he kept on reaching for it. I gave him some and he liked it. We supplemented food with milk after that. Their bodies know what they need. Bananas are one of the best foods to start with. Yam, steamed carrots and steamed zucchinis are also excellent starters. Guest guest
I know a lot of folks that have 8-9 children and they end up nursing for over 13 years constantly between having them not to far apart. They loved it and didn't feel drained by it. My dad was the baby of 13 children. His mom nursed for almost 16 years straight. Guest guest
Once we were past the infant stage, I found breastfeeding my daughter to be a relaxing break from life. I was very sad when she gave it up at 23 months, and continued to pump and give her breast milk for several months after. How low will we go? Check out Messenger’s low PC-to-Phone call rates.
