Guest guest
I got some kinda mint thing growing outside but I never use it. I do use the basil one though and it's growing fast. Guest guest
I would say homemade mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy, apple pie with a lot of cinnamon permeating the house. Guest guest
You guys are driving me nuts! Mashed taters and apple pie. YUM. As to the pumpkin cookies with icing that I mentioned yesterday... My friend _has_ given me the recipe. Twice. I keep losing it. I will really look for it, though. You have to remember that for years I wasn't cooking so I wasn't too careful about this sort of thing. But I may find it yet. :-) Alongside my Maple Cheesecake recipe, I hope. It's time to break these out! Guest guest
Here is my experience when traveling. I am not a fast food person. For one thing I noticed is I have allergies to the highly processed foods. There was a question asked earlier about Veggie Burgers, Johny Rockets a National Chain. They have a streamliner burger that is considered vegan by its self. According to there website they cook this on a separate grill. Now if you want it to be safer opt out of the roll and ask for rye or sourdough bread and you will also eliminate the HFCS also. Fries here are also veggie friendly. Ok my recommendation is for anyone traveling I-81 Scranton PA. On the 300 block of Adams Ave just opened a Vegan Café. It is called Eden. There hours are 10-4 PM Monday through Saturday. I also found a place in Moosic PA Amber Restaurant that has great Indian food for eat in or take out. They have a separate menu for Vegetarians. Plenty of dairy free items on there also. Best thing I tried there so far was not sure what it was called now. Mashed eggplant. Thought I did not like eggplant but guess I proved myself wrong. Guest guest
I like to power walk with a baggy of granola or trail mix with dried fruit. Ann (or Mary or Mary Ann)
