pics of dumplings, showing the different types, as I know them

ok, for those who have never had dumplings... :) I did a search on them,

and found LOTS of pics of asian dumplings- which are something else

completely (they are filled with all sorts of things- veggie ones are

fantastic!)...but, I did find a few pics of the type I make...and upon much

more searching, found the " other " type.

 

Hope this helps to clarify. :)

YUP!!! :):) I forgot to mention....I always add herbs to mine. right

into the flour. whatever strikes my fancy at the moment. and top with a

touch of salt and pepper after they have been added to the broth.

 

Ugh...now I want these..... hahaha. You guys are bad for my waistline!

What great pictures. Nope, I have never tasted those.

Looks almost like a buttermilk biscuit on top.

Now of course I have to try them soon.
