Guest guest
You sure you want to hear this one Judy? I like to make a pancake and put butter on top, a fried egg, a Tofurky Italian sausage, then a sliced banana and some powdered sugar and maple syrup all over the top and if I have lingonberry preserves that goes on top too. Yes I do that and I'm not pregnant! Donna --- wwjd <jtwigg wrote: > What are some of your favorite ways to use Maple > Syrup? Guest guest
Yes, with " sausage " ! Great with " bacon " and " breakfast links " too. And, of course, the oatmeal that so many have mentioned. It really is just simply the king of sweeteners. -Erin www.zenpawn.com/vegblog , Donnalilacflower <thelilacflower wrote: > > You sure you want to hear this one Judy? > I like to make a pancake and put butter on top, a > fried egg, a Tofurky Italian sausage, then a sliced > banana and some powdered sugar and maple syrup all > over the top and if I have lingonberry preserves that > goes on top too. Guest guest
Oh that sounds SO good! I used to love maple syrup on sausage and scrambled eggs...I think I liked it better on those than on the pancakes! ~Rachael , Donnalilacflower <thelilacflower wrote: > > You sure you want to hear this one Judy? > I like to make a pancake and put butter on top, a > fried egg, a Tofurky Italian sausage, then a sliced > banana and some powdered sugar and maple syrup all > over the top and if I have lingonberry preserves that > goes on top too. Guest guest
I too love that sweet-and-savory thing, so much so that I make healthier veggie versions of McDonald's McGriddles with Gimme Lean sausage and I pour a little syrup on the pancakes. I make Egg McMuffins too, but there's something forbidden about a sweet and salt taste in one bite, heehee... --Celia-- Re: Question of the Week hahahahaha You asked Judy Posted by: " Erin " truepatriot cronzen Sun Oct 29, 2006 7:06 pm (PST) Yes, with " sausage " ! Guest guest
Swallowing hard here and clearing my throat.. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO can't combine all that together!!!!!!! LOL You sure you aren't preggo? What a combo......... That must be the breakfast that a lumberjack eats. LOL My breakfast combo that I like to layer in a bowl. A bowl of grits, with steam fried potatoes on top, some gravy, grated cheese, diced onions, diced tomatoes and baco bits. Now that is great along with some WW buttered toast.
