Hallo. I do a lot of prepping food in to individual servings, and

freeze portions of rice in baggies in the freezer. Does anyone know,

can you cook & freeze pasta (just the plain noodes, without any sauce)

what is the best way to store pasta for indivudual use? I'm the ony

veggie at home, so I have plan my meals ahead...

Thanks in advance,

Lori

Yep, it's so simple it's almost stupid, heh-heh. Cook noodles or rice

according to box/package intructions, let drain and cool, throw in

Ziplock freezer bag and mark date and contents on front. ALL DONE!

Wasn't that easy? Hahahahaha......

Ya know, I have to say, **for me** pasta cooks so fast, why bother?? I do

up sauces, and toppings, for freezing (or fridge), but just boil up a

handful of pasta as needed, then top with the other stuff that is

pre-prepared earlier.

I have frozen regular pasta with sauce, don't know about doing it without sauce.

However, I DO know that you should not freeze rice, corn or quinoa pasta as when

I did it it came out like a giant mazo ball and was pretty gross!

I freeze brown rice almost every week. It always comes out perfect. I stick it

in a covered pyrex dish and microwave for a minute or two.

Though I like matzo balls (I am a fan of sinkers and my mom only makes

floaters, so sad).
