I just had news from Donna that her mother is not so good.

This is what Donna told me ;-

Please stop for 5 minutes and pray, " really, really pray " that both Donna and

her mother,

Rose are filled with blessings and that they will both ride this storm and that

the illness will

leave her mother's body forever and never to return. Also pray for Donna that

she will come

out of this unharmed and without a single trace of stress.

 

Last I prayed, her mother Rose have not pull IV but now she is

So, I think my prayers alone is not enough to reach the Lord.

I desperately need all your help now.

Thanks everyone for your prayers. 2 1/2 weeks ago

Mom feel and broke her hip in front of me little over

2 1/2 weeks ago. She had hip replacement surgery the

next morning. Very tragic for an almost 83 year old.

She has the start of dementia and it's gotten worse

with this ordeal, now she has infection and she is

terrified and not behaving herself in there. It's very

doubtful she will ever come back home, Koko the

Siamese howls for her at night. Very sad situation.

I told a few members off list but didn't want to

burden the group with my problem.

I have had meetings with 4 dieticians and staff

members and on her tray last night was lasagna with

meat, chicken soup, Jello and milk she can't drink.

Can you believe it? It's very hard rushing home from

work to cook and take her food but I have to do it.

Again I thank everyone, I don't have too much group

time right now but I will say you have all kept very

busy with wonderful posts and recipes, keep it going

loves!

I'm so sorry for you, your mom & Koko. Breaks my heart thinking of that

little guy not understanding at all.

Will send positive energy.

What is the problem with these hospitals!! Makes me mad.

You've got our prayer for healing, energy, wisdom and strength as both of you

face this new page in your lives. Nothing about it is easy, especially when

the hospital can't even get a dietary guidelines right. I would go to the

administrator. This person needs to be fired if they can't give sick folks that

depend on them even the right nourishment they need.

Prayers going up for all of you. Your kitties too.
