Guest guest
I highly recommend the book Raising Vegetarian Children - it is primarily vegan and has a great chapter on nutrition for the pregnant or nursing woman. Good luck! Chessie On Behalf Of tammykotowski Monday, November 21, 2005 8:14 AM nutritionist Hello Everyone! I am planning on becoming pregnant with my first child within the next year. Does anyone have any suggestions of nutritionists who speacialize in vegan pregnancy, and also vegan diets for babies and children? I live in Sarasota, Florida. Thanks so much! Guest guest
Hi all- For some reason I thought that we had discussed a website where you could search for a veg/veg-friendly nutritionist/dietician in your area. I can't seem to find it in my emails or in the group files. Could anyone help me? I would really appreciate any info you may have (Georgia related preferably) if we didn't already discuss this. Thanx so much! Whitney ______________________________\ ____ Want to start your own business? Guest guest
There are three of us...it is so rare to hear of a Whitney's. Though I think they went through a spate a couple of years after I was born (1980) because of Whitney Houston. Guest guest
To find a nutritionist that is veg friendly you can go to www.eatright.org (The American Dietetic Association's website). Click on find a nutrition professional. From there, after agreeing to their disclaimer, you can put in your zipcode and search for local nutritionists. Areas of specialty are listed for each nutritionist. Katie http://frugalveggiemama.blogspot.com Check out the all-new Mail - Fire up a more powerful email and get things done faster. Guest guest
How marvelous that you are about to begin practice in nutrition! We do indeed need people with firsthand knowledge in the field. That will help advance our situation much more quickly. All the best with your new career! Deborah Actually, I'm studying to be a nutritional therapist and will qualify early next year, so then I'll really be in a position to make a difference to other people's lives, and having been through my own health issues, I can relate to what my clients might go through.
