Guest guest
Jeanne: I think it is so wonderful that you make fresh bread all the time. When my kids where younger I went through a phase where I would get up early in the morning and make bread before there friends that I watched during the day came over so we could have sandwiches at the beach. I love making bread. I tell my kids that I when I grow up I want to be a bread and pastry chef. Gayle

Guest guest
He is the originator of the recipe. Monsieur Montfort's bakery was in Benodet, in Brittany. He started at 3AM and finished the day's baking at 8AM. Bernard Clayton traveled to France to learn how to make real French bread. I was not as fortunate, I just had a Frenchwoman teach me. (Today's loaf is a multi-grain hearth loaf to go with a big pot of vegetable soup.) Jeanne in GA Donnalilacflower <thelilacflower wrote: I love the elegant name! Guest guest
I printed your recipe. It sounds delish! I feel like baking bread soon. I have a pile of bananas on the sink and might make some banana chocolate chip heart shaped muffins later on. Donna --- treazure noname <treazured wrote: > He is the originator of the recipe. Guest guest
Oh that sounds delicious! I love when the local grocery store has ancient bananas on sale because I peel them and freeze in pint bags for nanner bread. You are going to post the recipe, right?
