I have some powdered buttermilk, do you think I could mix with water and use this buttermilk? Thanks for the help. in Illinois

I had stopped using mine, but lately I got to thinking about how store bought bread (after three weeks) can still have no mold on it. I find this disturbing so it's back to baking bread once a week. There's really a world of difference and as a bonus the house smells so good. I have a question for the group. For those of you who eat eggs, would you eat them uncooked? My daughter brought tiramisu for dessert yesterday and I asked her if the eggs had been cooked. They hadn't been, so I declined. She thought I was nuts. I just thought that no one ate raw eggs in this day and age. Guess I'm way off base. TM

And no, I do not eat raw eggs. in Illinois
Guest guest
HI TM: I agree with you I wouldn't eat anything with raw egg in it. You are not way off base. Gayle
Guest guest
I have no problem eating eggs that aren't cooked but only if they are Egg Beaters. These have been pasteurized and therefore as long as they are kept cold, they are fine. I even discussed it with my OB/GYN when pregnant as I taste cookie dough to make sure I didn't forget anything. She said it was a great idea. Debbie Access over 1 million songs - Music Unlimited.
