Guest guest
I never use eggs in baking, I use the Ener-g Egg Replacer, I know when we eat the cookies dough it isn't a problem. A while back my daughter and I made cookies using real egg for one of her friends, and we had to remember we couldn't eat the cookies dough. Other then this 1 time a few weeks ago I have not baked using real eggs in years. Gayle
Guest guest
I wouldn't have a problem eating raw eggs if they came from chickens I knew, like we used to have chickens as pets and we knew they were kept in sanitary conditions and weren't sick or filled up with drugs and hormones. I would absolutely not eat raw eggs that came from a chicken on a factory farm, not even a free-range one, not from any chicken I couldn't see with my own eyes and evaluate firsthand. I remember the cookie dough my mom used to make us when we were little, and it had raw eggs in it. Maybe one day I'll get some pet chickens so I can have some again!! Guest guest
Energ egg replacer is a wonderful invention, just when you make non gluten bread you have to use that in combination with flax and a little nut flour. Guest guest
I wouldn't advise eating raw eggs. You were right to decline. Fiona
Guest guest
My cousin got really sick from drinking a raw egg in her orange juice. It took her weeks to get better.
