Guest guest
Well, my Raid array fried but by disconnecting all 4 of those drives and power, I have the computer back (finally). One of our sons came down for Thanksgiving and we had a great time. He bought a stove for me and the first thing I did was throw out the old hot plate I've been cooking on for about 3 years. Hot diggity. Thankfully most of my cooking was done in segments ahead of time so it didn't take great effort on turkeyless day. The grandsons came over and headed to the hummus and the pate made with pistachios. (posted the reicipe earlier this month and the hummus is Chupa Babi's sweet potato one that we are hooked on.) I crashed in bed while they all ate and the husband person did the kitchen, thankfully. That's the good news. Now for the less so. I've not been doing well since the blood clot in the lung so they have been doing tests, etc. I'm in congestive heart failure and am scheduled for a heart cath next week and more lung tests. (Gotta love those blood gas tests.) They wanted it done yesterday but couldn't get me in. I tend to panic off and on when it is hard to breathe, (can't imagine why), so I've been sitting in my husband's truck outside where he works. Silly, but it is a lot closer to the hospital and we live out in the boonies. Thought of all of you every day. It is so nice to be back. I'll post as possible. Bright blessings to you all! Guest guest
Jeanne Garlic is one of the best blood thinners. In fact docs say not to eat it if one is taking blood thinning meds. Personally, I would throw the meds out and eat lots of garlic. That s just me though. I do not know if you are taking meds. Anyway, I hope you get better. GB > > That's the good news.
