Question of the Week - How do you host Parties?

When you host parties during the Christmas Season, do you tend to do whole

meals, snack foods, buffets, potlucks or something else? Do you like

getting together with just one other person/family or big groups?

 

We always get such great ideas from everyone. I look forward to them.

We mostly have buffet style parties. Sometimes folks bring something to add to

it, but I make most of the food. We often have a New Year's Party and shoot

off fireworks at Midnight.

We try to invite folks over, all thru December, even it is just for a short

visit, with tea and sweet treats.

I will generally create a buffet table and always include one seperate from the

others that is totallyKosher foods. I serve Salads, finger foods, small nibles

and some sweets along with a table for beverages and have found that generally

works the best. In the past I have had as many as 250 people attend through out

the day and evening to as little as 10 for just a quiet evening.

Sent up a nice center-piece and arrange the buffet foods around it.

Usually centers around a holiday theme.
