I've had wasabi peas from Trader Joe's. They truly do kick.

Yes, those are good but these are nothing like that, these are even better.

hahaha I'm a wasabi pea maniac but I like these snacks just a little bit more

Oh yes...love the pea crispies!! Trader Joe's has them too! My

daughter and I can't get enough of them, haven't convinced the boys in

the house as to their deliciousness, though, which is fine, more for

us!

Wow. They must be darn good. I'll give them a try. I've been craving

healthier foods as my back is healing.

Healthy Snack

 

Ingredients                   

3 cups instant Oats      

1/4 cup Cocoa      

3/4 cup raisins  

1/2 cup butter

1/4 cup nuts, chopped (optional)

2 cups sugar

2 tablespoons peanut butter

1/2 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/4 cup dried Fruit (pineapple, cherries etc.) (Optional)

 

DIRECTIONS:

Cook sugar, butter, cocoa and milk to a softball stage.  Boil 30

seconds.  (ABSOLUTELY NO MORE AND NO LESS!)  Remove from heat. 

Add vanilla, peanut butter, raisins, fruits, and nuts.  Pour over oats

and mix well.  Drop onto wax paper by tablespoonfuls.  Let cool.
