Guest guest Posted January 6, 2007 Report Share Posted January 6, 2007 Healthy Snack Ingredients 3 cups instant Oats 1/4 cup Cocoa 3/4 cup raisins 1/2 cup butter 1/4 cup nuts, chopped (optional) 2 cups sugar 2 tablespoons peanut butter 1/2 cup milk 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/4 cup dried Fruit (pineapple, cherries etc.) (Optional) DIRECTIONS: Cook sugar, butter, cocoa and milk to a softball stage. Boil 30 seconds. (ABSOLUTELY NO MORE AND NO LESS!) Remove from heat. Add vanilla, peanut butter, raisins, fruits, and nuts. Pour over oats and mix well. Drop onto wax paper by tablespoonfuls.
