Guest guest
I made this and was fabulous. I love pumpkin!! I used vanilla soy and substituted about ¼ c raisins for the maple syrup. Next time I will soak the raisins first to plump them up then liquefy them with the milk before adding the fruit just to get them blended in a little better. Guest guest
It is cold here in North Central Texas. We are just east of the freeze line, but still a rainy, dreary day perfect for relaxing with a hot beverage. First I made a cup of one of those instant coffee things but thought better and poured it out. I am in love with the Pumpkin Foamy and had it the last several mornings (soaking then blending the raisins in the milk helps), but today I wanted something hot and tea just doesn't have enough body sometimes. I adapted Judy's recipe to make a warm drink and served with a bowl of raspberries for breakfast. Hot Pumpkin Foamy 1/2 cup milk (soy or almond...I used Silk Vanilla) 1/4 c pumpkin puree 1/4 c raisins dash pumpkin pie spice few drops of vanilla Mix all ingredients in a small saucepan and heat to simmering. Pour into blender and process. Serves 1. Yum. I think I'll have another cup. , " wwjd " <jtwigg wrote: > > I'm glad you enjoyed it. I too love pumpkin and it is such a powerhouse of nutrition. Thanks for the review. > Judy
