Blend cheese and butter. Sift salt, flour and paprika together. Combine with cheese and butter mixture. Wrap dough around olives, using about 1 teaspoon of mix per olive. Guest guest
Thanks for sharing that fun memory and your recipe review. I've just recently come across this recipe and it was good. Great finger food at parties for sure or as an appetizer before a special meal. I'm going to make some for an finger food party at church this Saturday. They were always passed on the same silver tray. Lately it has become a staple at my " retro " parties, and I use the same silver tray which I inherited a few years ago. It always brings back memories of my Mom. wwjd <jtwigg wrote: Hot Cheese-Olive Puffs INGREDIENTS: 48 small pimiento-stuffed olives 1/2 pound sharp cheese, grated 1/2 cup soft butter 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup sifted flour 1 teaspoon paprika Cayenne TO PREPARE: Drain olives on paper towels.
