Guest guest
Welcome, cats. I worked in a doctor's office for one year, long before I went veg, and it seems that those in the medical profession do not exactly practice what they preach. At the chintzy little holiday luncheon, two of the doctors (who work in other offices) were puffing away like fiends. So it's not surprising that you'd have trouble finding a fellow vegetarian in a hospital. I have just joined this group and thought I should introduce myself. I'm a grandmother, I have 2 sons and 4 grandchildren with another one on the way. I am still making the transition from vegetarian to vegan. I want to say that I am a vegan but I know that I'm not completely vegan yet. I went vegetarian in March of 2001 (for the 2nd time) and then vegan in December of 2001. My problem lies more with products than with food, I know I still have a lot to learn and I'm hoping to learn it here. I'm looking forward to learning more, exchanging ideas, and talking with other vegans. I work in a hospital and I have yet to find even a vegetarian there! _______________ Add photos to your messages with MSN 8. Guest guest
Hi all, So... I was asked to give a small introduction and here it goes: I'm a single mom struggling to finish school and find a good paying job, all th while trying to raise my precious little Prince as a responsible, earth-friendly person. I'm the only person in my family to be really worried about what I put in my body and what type of an impact I'm making on the world (professionally and enviornmentally). So you can tell raising a " green " child has caused a little bit of friction!! Anyway, I became interested in this group because it seemed like the perfect place to get some support and find resources to accomplish my goals. Well, thanks for reading!
