Hi Ron:

I had a request from someone wanting recipes for a Vita-Mix that she had

inherited from her Mother....I got mine the same way. My Mom bought hers in

1947.

She passed away in 1992 and I inherited mine from her. I've been using it

ever since. I can't locate the recipe booklet anymore. I just use the machine

as second nature and use the favorite mixes I remember using way back when I

was a kid. I was happy to locate the above information.

hi, everyone,

 

ron here, from charlotte, nc. as we have a vita-mix, and incredibly,

have gotten waaaaaaay more than our money's worth out of it in about 7

months (honest) i'm just using that post as an excuse to say hi, tell

all y'all that i REALLY enjoy reading the recipes every day, and

occasionally, use one (or a variation thereof - my 13 year old

daughter is adjusting to our version of semi/pseudo - vegetarianism,

and that mans more and different ingredients and spices). and it's

always yummy!

I've been using my Vita-Mix mostly for fruit/water/protein powder shakes and

have misplaced my receipe books also. I went to vitamix.com (can't remember if

there is a dash between viat and mix) and ordered a used receipe book for $25.

Should be receiving it soon.
