Guest guest
Yes! I've already driven from Virginia to Florida so far this summer, and have a trip to Reno and the Outer Banks in August. My tip for travelling? If you're in a car- BRING YOUR OWN SNACKS!!! Guest guest
We are avid campers and have a VW camping van with stove and fridge, but wherever we go it is not hard to find options. Most every large grocery store has a salad bar and bakery. Meatless options are becoming more mainstream all the time. We stay out of restarants, preferring to buy and prepare our own food. Even someone who does not have cooking or storage facilities can make salads, sandwiches, cold cereal with soy milk and fresh fruit, raw veggies, etc. Buy no more perishables than what you can eat in one meal. Guest guest
Great ideas, Ellen. Must be fun having that VW camping van and being a real highway rambler. One thing that is so nice about the veg diet and eating outdoors is that the wasps & yellow jackets don't bother my plate; they seem to go more after the meat on other's plates! *lol* ~ PT ~ Come, heart, where hill is heaped upon hill: For there the mystic brotherhood Of sun and moon and hollow and wood And river and stream work out their will. ~ W.B.
