Guest guest
I like Pearl soymilk made by Kikkoman, the Green Tea soy milk is my favorite. The store that I used to buy it at no longer carries, last time I bought soymilk I bought a case of vanilla and a case of regular from Costco. I believe it is Kirkland brand. ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com

Guest guest
I have seen some veggie stuff there however I have not bought it there. In our family it is just my daughter and I that are vegetarian and it would take us a very long time to get through the veggie burgers. I do buy my 9 lb box of Quaker Oat oatmeal from Costco. Gayle I eat a bit of the stuff although I am the only veggie in the house. Well except the sugar glider. Were the prices on them economical ? ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
Guest guest
I actually don't know if the prices are economical on them as I have not looked. Definitely economical on the oatmeal. Really you have a sugar glider how cool. The only time I have seen one was in my daughters ag sci class. They had a couple for a while. Gayle I may have to break down and actually get a Costco membership, I dont like Sam's Club so I wont be shopping there. The sugar glider was my dd and she gave the thing to my son to take care of, he really seems to like the little bugger. ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com

Guest guest
When I'm away from home I take Ecomil Mandorla which is instant powdered almond milk (probably only available in UK and Europe.) At home I have started to make my own dairy-free milks and the recipe is still being refined: Almond Milk 1/4 cup blanched almonds soaked in water overnight 1 pint water 2 or 3 dates (or more to taste) or several drops of date syrup Blend well and strain through a fine mesh strainer. Horchata de Chufas (Tiger Nut Milk) 100g chufas (tiger nuts) soaked overnight in water with a couple of pieces of cinnamon 1 pint of water Discard the cinnamon and blend the chufas well. Add a couple of dates or sugar to taste (I don't bother). Strain through a fine mesh strainer. Chufas are probably only available in UK and Europe. I find them in the health food store.
