That sounds really good, Judy.

I like that amazon carries it too, that way I can

try some. Have you tried the rice form before?

If so, what did you think of it?

I like the convenience of being able to mix it up

as needed since I do not ever drink milk and when

I buy a carton of almond milk or whatever I struggle

to finish it before it goes bad.

Thanks for the info. :)

Try making your own, PT, it is so straightforward. I don't drink milk

either, just use it on muesli or in cooking and so I was wasting a

lot when I bought it by the carton. Now I just make a pint or even

half pint of almond milk and that way it is always lovely and fresh.

I regularly drink vanilla and chocolate soy milk and love them both and my

granddaughter (who is a regular milk drinker at home) loves grandma's vanilla

and chocolate soy milk when she comes to visit...I use the vanilla on my

breakfast cereal and in smoothies, and I like to put a quarter cup of the

chocolate soy in my coffee (*yum*). I usually buy the cartons that don't have to

be refrigerated and I stock up when they are on sale, (I have found that they

keep well beyond the exp. date if they are unopened). One of my favorite brands

is the Pearl (Kikoman) which I can purchase at Winco foods (here in the

Portland, OR area) and at Albertsons grocery store. I also like the Trader Joe's

brand, and their regular price for soy milk (in non refrigerated cartons) is

less than what I usually pay in other grocery stores, unless they happen to be

on sale. The only non-refrigerated cartons that I don't like are the Westsoy and

Edensoy brands. (I have had these brands become thick and lumpy,--t

hey don't seem to keep as long after opening.

I just went to Amazon and was about to order the " Better Than Milk " soy powder,

but after reading the customer reviews, I decided not to order it... I read

that it did not mix well,--so it would not be good in coffee, and in another

review I read, that according to the nutritional info on the Better Than Milk

soy powder, it contains only 8% calcium, while most of the soy milk in cartons

contain 30% calcium,--(which is quite a difference).
